Daily Lottery RNG (CFW)

A guide for manipulating the daily lottery to obtain Master Balls and other goodies.

The Rotom PC is located inside any PokéCenter, by interacting with it you will be given the option to try Loto-ID. Loto-ID is a daily event that gives the player a chance to win goodies, if one of the Pokémon stored inside your boxes matches the numbers given by Loto-ID you will recieve a prize. The most notable prize given by this machine is the Master Ball.

Important - From here, we assume that you are familiar with key concepts described on the main page. If you are unsure about seed monitoring, advancement methods, or NPC calibration, please review the relevant sections before continuing.
In-game Requirements

Getting Started (Game Setup)
  1. Head to Turffield PokéCenter, you can use other PokéCenters if you wish, but you will need to manually calibrate your NPC count later.
  2. If you plan to use multiple Pokémon with different ID numbers, collect these now and place them inside your boxes.
  3. If you have already attempted Loto-ID today, reset the daily events by either waiting until midnight or performing a date advance.
  4. Save the game.

The NPC count for each PokéCenter may vary slightly, for this reason we recommend visiting the Turffield PokéCenter. NPCs in this PokéCenter are conveniently placed for the purposes of this RNG, and this location will always have an NPC count of 7.

Getting Started (Tool Setup)
  1. Enter the IP address of your console in the main window and click Connect. This will automatically read your current seed and save file details.
  2. At the top of the main owoow window, select Loto-ID to open the Loto-ID generator in a sub-window.
  3. Enter the amount of advances you are willing to search through into the + field, usually you will find any desired result in less than 100,000 advances.
  4. Select your Target from the drop-down menu, you can target Master Ball, Rare Candy, PP Max, PP Up, or Moomoo Milk.
  5. Select your ID List button, then add the ID numbers of Pokémon stored inside your boxes. The more IDs in this list, the greater the chance of finding an early result.
  6. Activate the Consider Menu Close? checkbox, then enter the NPC count that was calibrated earlier (7 for Turffield). You can now begin searching for targets.

If you do not find a desirable result you will need to increase your search range, reset the game and follow the above steps again, or apply less strict search filters.

Advancing to the Target

In this example, a frame that produces a Master Ball can be seen in a cluster between advances 17,775-17,776, these are the advances that we will aim to close the pause menu on, then quickly interact with the Rotom PC. It is only important to interact with the PC on this frame to lock our item in place.

Step-by-Step
  1. Advance toward your target using any of the methods listed on this page.

    • Consider using wet weather or date skipping to advance large distances (for targets > 50,000 advances, it is unlikely you will need to use these methods).
    • Consider using NPC activation or menu close prediction to advance shorter distances (for targets < 50,000 advances, most targets will be within this range).

  2. Stop advancing once you are ~1000 advances before your target, then reposition yourself outside the Rotom PC machine if you have moved.
  3. Ensure that the Consider Menu Close? checkbox is checked in the Loto-ID sub-window, and confirm that your NPC count is calibrated correctly.
  4. Click Update Seeds on the main window of owoow, then re-open the Loto-ID sub-window and search for your target again.
  5. From this point, use animations to reach the exact target frame, then return to the main pause menu.
  6. Unpause the game. If Holding Direction? is checked, hold a direction on the control stick when unpausing; otherwise, do not touch the control stick when unpausing.
  7. Quickly interact with the Rotom PC to lock your item result in place, then click Try Loto-ID to produce the expected result.

In Figure 4 we closed the pause menu on the desired target frame and quickly interacted with the PC, now we need to select Try Loto-ID, which should produce the expected reward.
