Daily Lottery RNG (RETAIL)

A guide for manipulating the daily lottery to obtain Master Balls and other goodies.

The Rotom PC is located inside any Pokémon Center. Once a day, you can try the Loto-ID, a daily lottery event for prizes such as a Master Ball. The Rotom PC will generate a random number, and your prize is determined by how many digits match any Trainer ID of any Pokémon stored in the PC boxes.

Important - From here, we assume that you are familiar with key concepts described on the main page. If you are unsure about seed monitoring, advancement methods, or NPC calibration, please review the relevant sections before continuing.
In-game Requirements

Getting Started (Game Setup)
  1. Head to Turffield Pokémon Center. You can use other Pokémon Centers if you wish, but some may have NPCs close by and you will need to manually calibrate your NPC count later.
  2. If you plan to use multiple Pokémon with unique ID numbers, collect these now and deposit them in the PC boxes.
  3. If you have already attempted Loto-ID today, reset the daily events by either waiting until midnight or performing a date skip.
  4. Save the game. Now identify your current seed and calibrate your NPC count if you are not using Turffield Pokémon Center.

The NPC count for each Pokémon Center is different. We recommend using the Turffield Pokémon Center to RNG manipulate Loto-ID because NPCs in this Pokémon Center are conveniently placed and this location will always have an NPC count of 7.

Getting Started (Tool Setup)
  1. At the top of the main owoow window, click Loto-ID to open the Loto-ID generator in a subwindow.
  2. Enter the number of advances you want to search in the + field. You will usually find any desired result in under 100,000 advances.
  3. Select your Target reward from the drop-down menu. You can target Master Ball, Rare Candy, PP Max, PP Up, or Moomoo Milk.
  4. Click the ID List button to open the ID List. Add all the unique Trainer ID numbers of your deposited Pokémon by entering each number in the ID: field, then clicking Add. The more IDs in this list, the greater the chance of finding an early result.
  5. Tick the Consider Menu Close? checkbox, then enter the NPC count. If you are in Turffield, enter 7. If you are elsewhere, use the menu NPCs you calculated previously. You can now begin searching for targets.

If you do not find any results, make sure you have IDs entered first. If you still do not find any results, you will need to increase your search range, change your search filters to be less restrictive, or reset the game for a better seed.

Advancing Towards a Target

In this example, a frame that produces a Master Ball can be seen in a cluster from advances 17,775-17,776. We will aim to close the X Menu on these advances, then quickly interact with Rotom PC to lock in our desired result.

Step-by-Step
  1. Advance toward your target using any of the methods listed on this page.
    • If your target is over 50,000 advances away, consider using wet weather (will require exiting the Dojo) or date skipping. It is unlikely you will need to use these methods.
    • For closer targets, consider using NPC activation (use any of the NPCs in the Dojo) or menu close to advance shorter distances. Most targets will be within this range.
  2. Stop advancing once you are ~300-500 advances before your target. Give yourself more leeway if you have left your position or do not have a rough idea of how many advances have occured. If you have moved, reposition yourself in front of the Rotom PC so you can immediately interact with it.
  3. Open the X Menu to pause the game.
  4. Reidentify your current seed. Click Update Seeds on the main window of owoow after re-identification, which will send your current seed to the active subwindow.
    • If you are not within a few hundred advances of your target, use either of the "closer target" advancement methods listed in step 1 to advance the RNG state until you have reached the correct point. Be careful not to overshoot your target frame.
  5. Ensure that the Consider Menu Close? checkbox is checked in the Loto-ID subwindow, and confirm that your NPC count has been calibrated and entered correctly. Search for your target again.
    • Do not use the Holding Direction? checkbox on owoow. This increases the difficulty of hitting your target frame as we are already standing next to the Rotom PC.
  6. From this point, use attack animations to reach the exact target frame. You can reidentify your current seed at any point if you wish.
  7. Close the Pokémon window so you are on the main X Menu.
  8. Unpause the game by pressing B. Do not touch the joystick when unpausing as we are already positioned next to to the Rotom PC.
  9. Quickly interact with the Rotom PC to lock your item result in place. Now select Try Loto-ID to get your reward.

In Figure 4, we closed the X Menu on the desired target frame and quickly interacted with the Rotom PC. Now we need to select Try Loto-ID, which should produce the expected reward.
